MASALA FISH FRY
Hey guys, this is delicious crispy and flavorful recipe. Simple sliced onions and green chutney compliment the masala fish fry.
I used 1 kg of fish for this recipe so quantity of ingredients can vary according to quantity of fish and you can adjust chili powder and green chilies in masala to suit your spiciness .
So now lets take a look in recipe.
- Firstly we will prepare masala (marination batter) for which add 5-6 green chilies, 2 tsp of red chili powder, 1 tsp of ginger garlic paste, 2 tsp of coriander powder, 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder, 1 tsp of cumin powder, 2 tsp of gram flour, 1 tsp of lemon juice, mint leaves ,coriander leaves and salt as per your taste to mixer pot.
- Coriander and mint is base for masala, so use it in 2:1 ratio that means mint leaves should be half of coriander leaves.
- Now make a smooth thick paste and add washed fish pieces to it and let it marinate for at least 2 hours.
- Moving on toward the coating, for which we will make a mixture of 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder, 1/2 cup of rice flour, 1/2 cup of sooji and salt that's it😄.
- Now whenever you want to eat just coat the marinated fish in coating mixture and heat the pan on medium flame cook covered for 5 minutes then flip over and cook another side till it get golden brown and crispy.
Serve it hot and enjoy this spicy masala fish fry with green chutney and sliced onions. You can also follow craving stories on intagram (@craving__stories) and pinterest for latest updates.
